September was a pretty good month for me.  I read a good mix of different books, including some I’d been wanting to read for quite some time.  I found all the books really enjoyable as well and the majority rated 4 stars.  I still have a few reviews to post which will be up soon.

I also began tracking how many pages I read each day.  I really like the stats that Heather at Between the Covers posts in her monthly updates so that’s what inspired me.  Some days I forgot to keep track but, I was also surprised to see that there were at least 7 days where I didn’t read anything at all.  So it’s an interesting way to track your reading and, if you want to read more, to see where your reading can be improved.

Plans for October
For October I want to keep tracking my reading for fun and of course keep reading more. I’ve still got quite a few books out at the library which I haven’t read yet.  And I haven’t finished anything for R.I.P. VIII yet.  I started White Horse but at 80 pages in it’s just not gripping me so I don’t think I’ll finish it.

In October I’ll also hit my 100 books read mark for the year so I’m excited about that. I also have quite a few non-fiction books on business and stuff out from the library which I’m planning to read.  So my plans are somewhat more ambitious than usual but I’m looking forward to all the books and awesome reading experiences ahead.

How was your September?  Any special reading plans for October?  What books are you loving so far this month?
